Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare’s New Mode Grind Combines Interesting Features from Hardpoint and Kill Confirmed

The new mode in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare called Grind has replaced the Drop Zone mode and is available to play right now. While we don’t know whether this mode will be a permanent one or just a temporary feature, here are a few tips and tricks to help you Grind your way into and out of the battle!

Grind Picks up Features from ‘Hardpoint’ and ‘Kill Confirmed’ Modes

Activision has published an announcement on their official website, revealing the new Multiplayer mode is also similar to modes from Call of Duty: Ghosts – Stockpile and Fracture, but that it also combines rules from Kill Confirmed and Hardpoint while adding a lot of tactical levels on the “already tension-filled battlefield.”

Basically, players must make sure their not too greedy when scoring points since they must make it back alive. Those points are earned by confirmed kills – which are made through collecting dog tags from the players you’ve defeated. After collecting dog tags, you must deliver them to the objective location. Die on the road towards the objective location and you lose all the dog tags and drop one for your death. The enemy can collect all the dog tags you lost. A teammate can collect the dog tag you dropped when you died but it doesn’t count – however, it will negate the enemy team’s claim to it.

Chose the Best Strategy

Different strategies can be used in this insane mode.

You can try sniping to neutralize enemies, while your teammates collect the tags from the fallen foes. Ultimately, the most important thing is to help your team win the match.

LMG players can also defend the objective and collect the tags from the players they took down close to it so that they can quickly score some points for the team.

Activision recommends players not to stack their dog tags for a huge turn in, since it makes that one player a hot target. Check out all the tips and tricks on the Activison blog.
