The game is available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, so pick your favorite and give the game a chance as fast as you can. The video game is available for free; however, only for a limited period of time. However, this sounds all too good to be true, and we don’t blame you as there is more than one catch.
How to play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare for free
The first catch is that the game will be available for free only for a short period of time. To be more specific until April 27, 2020. Starting April 28, the game will be again availabe at the full cost. To make thing more clear, according to the Activision and Infinity Ward, this is just a free sample, not a free of charge download.
The second catch is that the trial doesn’t give you full access to the game. You can only have a taste of its multiplayer mode, however, not even all of the multiplayer game mode. Only a few maps will be available for free.
The third catch is that you can’t try out the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare without owing Warzone. Call of Duty: Warzone is a standalone game that everyone can play. The battle royale game is free of charge and new to the platform. You need to download Warzone and launch it in order to have access to the free trial of the main game. It looks like a lot of hassle, but Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a premium game, and it is not popular for nothing.
