Call of Duty: Mobile Season 9 update is highly anticipated, and even though the fame calendar for the eighth season has been over for a few days already, there are no signs of the next build.
Call of Duty: Mobile Season 9 could be released at practically any time now as its players are eagerly expecting it. Still, it seems like the developing team is set on not announcing a specific date for the launch.
Rather, they have confirmed a window time which is ‘sometime early mid-August,’ as per the team’s comment on a Reddit query, screen-captured by Daily Esports.
What’s Taking Activision so Long to Launch Season 9?
The first day of every month is allegedly the mark of a brand new season for Call of Duty: Mobile. Still, due to various reasons, delays were made. Back in June, Activision, the developer of the game, decided to draw back the launch of the new season for all its Call of Duty series amid the recent protests for Black Lives Matter.
This time, though, it seems like the developers require more time to make sure the next big update is accurate. There’s reportedly been a series of problems trying to hit the mobile game in the last few months, one of which is the desync. However, the developing team has previously pledged to the community that they are looking to address this issue. Hopefully, it will come as a bug fix in the upcoming season.

Major optimization updates are also scheduled to launch this next season, based on the Call of Duty: Mobile Season 9 trailer drop that Activision published on the game’s official Twitter account.
The most significant addition to the mobile gameplay, Gunsmith, is also scheduled to be released next season. The developers have not reported encountering obstacles with the Season 9 development, contrary to the Blizzard developers working on Overwatch, which were open about facing some issues with their supposed most recent update.
According to the developers’ comment, there is still a lot of work to be done in Season 9, considering how massive the build is.
What Should We Expect From the Next Season?
Most of the major updates have already been unveiled by the official Call of Duty: Mobile Twitter account. This obviously excludes the Season 9 Battle Pass operators, as well as the items and guns that come with it.
Until now, Activision has announced the crossover of the Shipment 1994 map, as well as the 10v10 multiplayer mode. The Shield Turret Scorestreak is also confirmed, which intensifies the combative play in the multiplayer mode.
