Cube World (2019)
Cube World, unlike Minecraft, is not a sandbox game, but a smooth action-RPG. The game lets you pick your favorite character, pick their class from options such as Warrior, Mage, Archer, or Rogue, and then design their appearance. It resembles, however, Minecraft’s looks, biomes, and crafting elements. You can craft armors, weapons, cosmetics, potions, or food. Unfortunately, there is no digging or building element, but you can try your hand at some blowups terrain with bombs. Cube World is mainly focused on quests, exploration, and fights.
Trove (2015)
Trove is available as free and offers lots of features. The game is a sleek MMO (Massively Multiplayer Online) in which you get a class choice. Throughout the game, you can customize your character. Terraria (2011)
Terraria succeeded in scoring the top 25 selling games of all times titles, reaching number 21, so it’s one of the best Minecraft alternatives out there. It has a sandbox design similar to Minecraft filled with building elements, biomes, tools that can be utilized for combat, crafting, mining ore, and the day-night cycle. The differences, however, are that the worlds come as fixed dimensions, and you can opt for size at the beginning of the game. Terraria is also taking place only within its two dimensions.
