One of the most impressive stories in the incredibly popular Assassin’s Creed series is definitely that of Ezio Auditore, an Italian assassin that lives in the 15th century. He is the protagonist in three different games, considered to be the best titles in the franchise.
Now, developer and publisher Ubisoft has announced that is giving away Assassin’s Creed II from Ezio’s popular trilogy for free. The well-known follow-up to Assassin’s Creed has a new hero, Ezio Auditore da Firenze, a young Italian noble that lives during the Renaissance.
Assassin’s Creed II is an epic narrative of family, vengeance, and conspiracy placed in the undefiled yet cruel scenario of a Renaissance Italy. Ezio befriends Leonardo da Vinci, fights the most powerful clans in Florence and endeavors across the canals of Venice where he is taught to be a professional killer.
