Assassin’s Creed II is Available For Free Until Tomorrow

One of the most impressive stories in the incredibly popular Assassin’s Creed series is definitely that of Ezio Auditore, an Italian assassin that lives in the 15th century. He is the protagonist in three different games, considered to be the best titles in the franchise.

Now, developer and publisher Ubisoft has announced that is giving away Assassin’s Creed II from Ezio’s popular trilogy for free. The well-known follow-up to Assassin’s Creed has a new hero, Ezio Auditore da Firenze, a young Italian noble that lives during the Renaissance.

Assassin’s Creed II is an epic narrative of family, vengeance, and conspiracy placed in the undefiled yet cruel scenario of a Renaissance Italy. Ezio befriends Leonardo da Vinci, fights the most powerful clans in Florence and endeavors across the canals of Venice where he is taught to be a professional killer.

Other Assassin’s Creed Games are Also Available at a Discount

The action-packed adventure thriller is the second major build in the Assassin’s Creed series, as the name says. The title was free on Uplay for three days already as part of the publisher’s ongoing ‘Play your part, play at home’ campaign that started on April 14th.

Throughout this week, you have the opportunity to visit Ubisoft’s online game store and get yourself a copy of the popular Assassin’s Creed II for free. The title is the most recent entry in the list of games the studio has been offering for free during the last few months. Assassin’s Creed II is available for free since April 14th, as we already mentioned, and will be up for grabs until Thursday, April 17th.

In the meantime, other games from the renowned trilogy featuring Ezio, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood and Assassin’s Creed: Revelations are also purchasable with a discount. However, if you want a taste of the old Italy and Ezio’s intense adventures as a professional assassin, Assassin’s Creed II is the ideal game you need.
