Foldable devices, meaning both smartphone and tablet into one single gadget, had become one of the new trends in the recent years. Samsung, Motorola, and Huawei had all released foldable smartphones, and other companies will soon join the race.
Apple is one of the companies that’s expected to bring along such a phone, and it cannot be otherwise. The Cupertino-based giant is a too much bigger brand, and it’s only a meaning of time before it will become a reality.
We’re ruling out iPhone 12
Unfortunately or not, Apple’s foldable phone won’t be the upcoming iPhone 12. The gadget will be Apple’s flagship for 2020, and it’s expected to be released in September if all goes according to the plan. Let’s hope that the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic won’t delay the launch, although things are looking pretty bad in the US. The number of daily infections is rising.
Apple’s foldable phone is not arriving in 2020
Jon Prosser is a leaker that has a good track record, and he confirms the imminent arrival of a foldable iPhone. He made the big claim via Twitter, but also said that the gadget won’t be coming this year.

Therefore, our bet is on iPhone 13 or iPhone 14. That’s how the next flagships of Apple will most likely be called, although it’s all just speculation for now.
We might as well just focus our attention on the upcoming iPhone 12, until the foldable iPhone is released. The 2020 flagship will come in three versions. The Pro Max variant will pack 6GB of RAM, video recording in 4K, and it will have a huge 6.7 inches display with a resolution of 1242×2688 pixels.
iPhone 12 will also be packing the A14 Bionic next-generation processor made by Apple, and it will also come in three versions of storage: 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB.
