Apple iPhone 9 Mass Production Starts in March

Apple has made it a tradition to reveal its upcoming iPhones in September. This is why it shouldn’t come as a surprise that the company’s partners start manufacturing parts for the next-gen iPhones in the Spring. A new leak from China is showing us that Apple is working on an unannounced device called iPhone 9. Not just that, but according to the report, the mass production of iPhone 9 is scheduled to start in March.

iPhone Production Reports

The first thing that we want to mention about the new leak is the fact that it comes from the Chinese site called “MyDrivers”. The report is claiming that the mass production of iPhone 9 will start during the upcoming weeks. To make things even better, the report indicates that Apple has placed orders for 30 million iPhone 9 units to be manufactured in 2020. This is quite interesting because it shows us that Apple is confident that iPhone 9 will have massive success.

Highlight Specs

As previously noted, Apple hasn’t made any announcements regarding iPhone 9. However, this is not stopping industry analysts from making their predictions based on the latest leaks. Therefore, iPhone 9 will ship with a form factor that is similar to iPhone 8. Not only that, but the device will also be equipped with a 4.7-inch display.

Even though iPhone 9 may not be able to compete with the latest flagship iPhone model, its performances are not something to be overlooked. The device is expected to be powered by the Bionic A13 chipset. This is the same chipset that iPhone 11 uses. Furthermore, the Bionic A13 chipset will be paired with 3GB of RAM. Additionally, iPhone 9 will be available in the 46GB and 128GB internal storage space variants.
